I’m Ieuan Brús Pearse, an AI and data practitioner with a focus on responsible, human-centred technology. My background combines applied work in AIML data operations with research in AI ethics and the future of intelligent systems. I enjoy roles where I sit between engineering, research, and end-users—making complex systems work reliably in the real world.


Professionally, I’ve spent the last several years working on AIML products. I care a lot about how datasets are built, how models are evaluated, and how those decisions impact fairness, safety, and user experience.


Academically and personally, I’m interested in AI governance, transparency, and the long-term impact of automation on work. I regularly work with Python and modern data tools, and I run a wonderful home lab where I experiment with sensors, embedded hardware, and automation. I also have a foundation in multimedia design and HCI, which shapes how I think about interfaces, explainability, and communication.


Outside of work, I love to learn constantly in informal settings, share technical notes and experiments online, and tinker with 3D-printed hardware projects. I’m at my best when I’m given a messy problem, the autonomy to investigate it properly, and a team that values clear thinking over hype.



I’m currently looking for roles that sit at the intersection of AIML operations, evaluation, and ethics/governance—particularly within education or IT analyst environments. I’m interested in posts where I can improve digital services, support teaching and learning with reliable infrastructure, and bring a critical, evidence-based lens to how data and automation are used.
